take a breath

i have a pretty busy life. on the surface, it looks super easy. i mean, i work and live at the same place as all of my friends and my sweet boyfriend. it is easy, right?

i have been so tired. any break i get is usually taken up pretty quickly. for instance i started february with zero photoshoots booked and ive already done two so far. new things hit me everyday and i can barely seem to relax.

take a breath.

this is a phrase my boyfriend said to me one time and it has stuck with me every since. it has filled many sticky notes that have been placed in my office, room, car, and any other object i see throughout the day. God knows i am busy. God sees me working. but, God wants me to take a breath. He wants all us to breathe. Yahweh is with us in every breathe. every time you breathe is a time you give Glory to God.

take a breath.

i know your life is busy. i know your kids are screaming as you read this. i know your back hurts. i know you have late nights. BUT take a breathe. pause and invite the Lord in. ask Him for extra time. the Lord moves in miraculous ways. He could make the world stop for that one minute you need to breathe. take a deep breathe before you burn out. take a breath before that big speech. take a breathe before dealing with difficult people. God wants to hear that breathe.
